WHY SO FEW ARTISTS HAVE JOINED THE ANTI-NUCLEAR BATTLE

Sometimes I have wondered why so few artists have joined the battle to stop the nuclear industry polluting this marveillous planet and to take renewable energy sources as serious alternatives instead.
But after reading some stories of music and entairnment industry it's quite clear: you are singing the songs given to you by those who pay you your money.

It's really strange how Hollywood is concerned about Dalai Lama, Darfur or animal rights but nobody is reacting when people are getting ill and dying of radiation in Japan, or thousands of pet animals and cows are left to starve to death in no go zone around Fukushima Daichi! It's really OK to be worried about human rights but it shouldn't be selective.

This opinion is also made clear by a japanese actor Taro Yamamoto who lose his job by joining anti-nuclear rally in Japan to save the children of Fukushima. Link- MAJIROX-NEWS:

There are other artists making antinuclear songs but they are few at the moment. one of them is a former US Congressman, John Hall. He sings on this video his new song "I Told You So".

I hope there will be lots of artists making new songs and movies of this theme so vital for us all. It takes courage to fight against big money and political/economical influence.

It also takes a lot of faith and courage to make songs on amateur basis as this (a little funny) example shows out. Again there's a new anti-nuclear song of Carlos F-Major - the man of strange music and odd stories  http://www.carlosf-major.hostoi.com/  . His new song tells about Talvivaara -mine in northern Finland that has asked Finnish parliament for permission to mine and enrich uranium. There have already been critical leaks on the waste material ponds of the facility and Finnish magazines have told that the company didn't find it necessary to tell the staff that they are mining uranium as well as other minerales - to avoid unnecessary fears among the workers.
By the way, I think SOLARWINDPRONET is also mentioned in that blues when he sings: "Solarwind is blogging, we're running out of time", (or what do you think? ) ENENEWS is mentioned for certain: "ENENEWS is giving information online"! :-)

FUKUSHIMA DAICHI REACTOR 2 IS HEATING UP ONCE MORE - TEMPERATURE OVER 70 DEGREES CENTIGRADE - RECRITICALITY POSSIBLE

FD reactor number 2 is showing signs of heating up. TEPCO doesn't know what is happening inside the crippled reactor. They have been adding the amount of injected water but it has had only minor influence on reactor temperature. The accident is far from being over. Hiroshi Tasaka, nuclear engineer and the former adviser of Japan's then Prime Minister Naoto Kan is using metafora "Pandoras Box" for nuclear power in Japan. I FEEL BAD ALSO FOR THE JAPANESE BIRDS THAT HAVE TO EAT HIGHLY RADIOACTIVE INSECTS AND EARTHWORMS.
The amount of birds at fallout region has been falling down last year after FD-accident. International study shows out that the birds and insects are in trouble in Japan.

I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO THINK THAT UNDERESTIMATING THE RADIATION DANGERS AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE RELATED

There are also many articles about Nuclear power and Fukushima Daichi -accident. Nuclear Engineer Arnie Gundersen estimates that Japan Daichi Accident costs 250 billion dollars. He is of that opinion that Wall street will end nuclear era in USA because of very high investment costs of nuclear power - a new reactor is costing now 10 - 20 billion dollars. If a severe accident occurs  the plant is lost for ever. Economical risks are huge.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE: WHAT IF THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY STUDIES ARE TELLING THE TRUTH - IF RADIATION IS IN FACT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH!

Sometimes I have wondered whether others have thought about the possible consequences of believing the many studies sponsored mainly by the nuclear industry, nuclear weapons industry and organizations promoting nuclear power (and nuclear weapons aside) like IAEA. The studies clearly show out that some amount  of ionizing radiation exposure (It varies from a few millisieverts per year to 50 - 200 millisieverts per year) are in fact not dangerous at all, but strengthening your immunity system and can therefore be seen as a health sustaining factor. Studies like this have been released for decades now and many authorities seem to think now it's time to raise the accepted radiation levels up to 20 millisieverts per year for public as did the Japanese Government  in Fukushima accident fallout area.

This kind of thinking can be found here: Professor Gerry Thomas sees no radiation risks for eggs and sperm even in Nagasaki and Hiroshima bomb -survivors. This FENSHUI-site makes you understand it all - don't listen to the bulls--- that the anti-nuclear movement is trying to sell to you. All the scientists are saying there is absolutely no evidence of mutations and birth defects caused by nuclear accidents. In fact some level of radiation is good for you! All the anti-nuclear "scientists"  are lacking any competence. They have no real studies to show to support there claims.

It is sad that this type of  thinking is really driving this planet towards a nuclear nightmare. Denying facts is easy but everyone taking this road will have to taste their own medicine some day.

But I have found nobody thinking further what this kind of denying the excisting reality means for us all if it will be accepted worldwide.

So, let me explain a bit what I mean (- a few words of wisdom follows - just a warning):

If we think about our post-World War II international politics the most important factor has been preventing a global nuclear war.
And if we ask the military why not to use nuclear weapons in the war they will be answering that the use of such weapons would cause a long lasting radioactive fallout which would not be respecting national borders. And the idea for using them in battle is banned by the international community.


But why is it banned? Because of the great distruction these weapons are causing on the battle field (and for the civilians)? How about napalm or modern effective conventional explosive super-bombs that all the super-powers have? They are not banned by the international community. And why is that? Beacuse they don't leave radioactive fallout that affects people and animals decades afterwards and cause mutations to chromosomes for generations to come as does ionizing radiation spread by the nuclear blasts.

Evidence of this kind of thinking can be found in Gulf War and Balcan War widespread use of depleted uranium in anti-tank munitions. Only few were strongly criticising it before great amount of civilians and allied soldiers got sick and died of this "harmless" substant called DU. The fallout could be detected and diagnosed by scientists, and despite of studies showing no harm of DU for the soldiers involved, more and more alarming studies have showed that people - especially children - are really getting sick and dying because of DU-contamination. So numerous countries have joined to coalition that wants to ban all DU-weapons and their use in battle.
But what if? - It can't be true - or can it?

IF RADIATION IS IN FACT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH AND IS USED BY THE EVOLUTION PROCESSES AS A SPECIES STRENGTHENING AGENT! SO THE USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS WOULDN'T DIFFER SO MUCH FROM THE USE OF OTHER WEAPONS...

So tactical use of these weapons wouldn't be so bad after all. Just a limited strike, when necessary. The fallout would only strengthen the survivors... so why not?

If we continue with this kind of logic we'll end up to nuclear WWIII.

That's why I feel it is irresponsible to think that radiation could be good for your health. Please read also the studies that have the opposite point of view! Read the recent low-level radiation health effect studies! And use your own brain and heart!

A Japanese 95-year Old Senior Scientist and A Survivor Of Hiroshima A-Bombing Warns For Underestimating Internal Radiation

A Senior Japanese Scientist and the former Chair of the Japan Confederation of A- and H- bomb Sufferers Organizations' Central Consultation  Center - Doctor Shuntaro Hida has recently given a lecture in Yokohama about the FD-accident and internal radiation exposure. He is very concerned about the general underestimating of internal radiation exposure. He has had over 6,000 bura bura -patients (a fatique disease caused by A-bomb radioactive fallout/radiation) during his more than a half century carriere as medical doctor. The symtoms of this disease have been newly recognised among the residents of Chernobyl nuclear accident fallout area. And according to Mr. Hida it wouldn't be strange if similar symptoms would be seen also in Fukushima.

Mr. Hida connects nuclear weapons with the underestimating of the dangers of internal radiation exposure. If the dangers were to be admitted then whole the nuclear weapons arsenal would have to be banned as inhumane weapons-system because of the decades-lasting effects of internal radiation exposure among the survivors of a possible use of any of these weapons. - Mainichi:

A STUDY THAT WAS HELD HIDDEN: JAPAN COULD SURVIVE COMPLETELY WITHOUT NUCLEAR POWER - NO POWER SHORTAGES ON SUMMER 2012

A study was made by the Japanese government last autumn that clearly showed that Japan can manage without nuclear energy next summer (2012). The study was not published, though. So the nuclear power companies had free hands to ask for permission to restart the idling NPP:s. It put pressure on local authorities to accept restarting of the nuclear plants because the common belief was that without restarting the reactors Japan would suffer of lack of electricity and the disaster-crippled economi would have suffered more of this extra power shortage.
